I want to help you gain a new perspective of your struggle that allows you to be more hopeful about the solution. Whether the problem includes substance abuse, problem gambling, depression, anxiety, relationship conflict or some other problem, I am committed to the process of change through an empowering and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I earned my Master’s of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University. In addition, I hold a Post-Graduate Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Counseling (CADC) from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) and am on the DDAP Treatment Provider List for Problem and Compulsive Gambling.
Areas of ongoing interest and training include the practice of Mindfulness and Meditation, Guided Imagery, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing/Internal Resourcing (EMDR).
My approach is solution-focused drawing from a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral, Motivational Enhancement, Mindfulness and Internal Resourcing.
